A very impressive presentation made by the CEO and staff at the Smith Barney conference that just wrapped up. Would highly suggest that all listen to the replay that will be available in the near future..if you didn't listen to the live presentation.

The major points that I took away from the presentation were:
1)They can screen 100,000 compounds via their method vs competition only doing 1,000 per year.
2) Very strong patents for their compounds.
3) Based on "current" collaborative deals the combined total of the products that could be using SNMXs product is $38Billion. The CEO clearly stated that he didn't expect this to be the actual amount that would be using their product...but assuming that merely a 1/4th application and using the lowest royalty rate of 1% you are looking at huge revenue numbers for SNMX. As for bottom line numbers based on this revenue potential and the fact that production cost will be totally borne by partner, current burn rate for SNMX is about $12 million annually, you are looking a huge per share earnings (IMO).
4) First revenue stream for the Savory products will be first half of 2006.
5) First revenue stream for sweet product is expected 1/2 of 2007.
6) Salt product will create revenue in 2nd half of 2007.

IMO the potential is huge for this company...but heck, that is why I bought shares in the first place.
