Scott, Hi!! I guess I shouldn't be such a pessimist...But, I can't help but wonder why HP would be up on this announcement...It's not like the Yankees just cloned Ruth and Gehrig...I'm sure the new CEO is a great leader...I'm sure many out there are looking forward to the new menu that HP can produce...But, I have to be a realist...Almost nine years ago I heard the word "model" used on this DELL thread...And, I'm sure I've heard it or read it a few thousand times since...But, more than anything else it was the IRelations guys and the friends I met at DELL that kept harping about how that term "model" "could never be used enough" to explain the advantages DELL had over the competition... DELL is the low cost provider...Period... Good luck HP...I personally don't think the PC business will last another three or four years... Thanks for the link Scott... Best, Kemble
