Hope someone will be able to attend and report back

Dear Technologist:

Please join us at Light Reading's Telecom Investment Conference - Thursday,
April 7, 2005 in New York City at W New York Union Square.

As the telecom industry stirs from its long winterÕs nap, its revival will be
spurred by a burgeoning collection of new services and technologies. This
conference will take a detailed look at the many emerging technologies being
deployed by the leading service providers, within the context of the convergence
of fixed, mobile, and IP-based communications technologies.

MRV will be participating in a Panel Session on Product Analysis - The Converged
IP Infrastructure as follows:

Product Analysis Ð The Converged IP Infrastructure

Panel Session: 01:00 p.m. Ð 02:15 p.m.

Broad industry trends such as VOIP, IP video, fixed-mobile convergence, and IMS
are driving networks toward a single, converged IP infrastructure. Heavy Reading
Chief Analyst Scott Clavenna takes a look at the IP convergence revolution, and
analyzes how operators will ultimately re-architect their entire networks around
this goal. The effects will be felt not just in the IP network, but across all
product categories, from access to metro to core.

Clavenna will lead a panel discussion in which participants will present their
own take on the converged IP infrastructure. This session will decode the
convergence plans of big carriers and lay out a roadmap for how various product
categories are expected to evolve. Clavenna will also call out some companies
that are missing the boat and highlight some others that are succeeding in IP
convergence trends.
