Absolutely! They not only withheld the financing but also applied massive pressure on distributors to avoid distributing the film. Mel then appealed directly to the Christian community and they responded by marketing the film to their congregations. Millions of tickets were sold to private showings. This collapsed the Jewish boycott against Mel and Passion of Christ. In the end, the hysterical whining by the Jewish community and the Jewish controlled media worked against the boycott to destroy Mel and his great artistic and theological creation.

Mel Gibson gambled millions of his own money to produce a piece of art that captured the central icon of Western Christian civilization--Christ crucified for the sins of mankind. The Jewish community proved that they oppose and hate the central theme of Western Culture and Western Civilization.
