Energy prices have roughly doubled since Bush-Cheney were nominated and the big energy gouging began. The only time it stopped was temporarily when Jeffords switched parties giving the Senate subpoena powers to investigate Cheney-Bush. Why are you defending the energy thieves? Especially when they are using this gouging to devastate our environment and undermine our democracy with their dirty money? Not only that, it was a big reason why they started their war. Who wins? They do. Who loses? We do. Enron-Halliburton-Carlyle-Chevron-Exxon and all the rest. Everyone else loses.
