Bruce, Have you been watching this Nasdaq Open in Miami? The stands are empty. The Williams sisters played last night and it looked half empty??? Two women who own about 7 or 8 grand slams between them and Miami can't find people to fill the stands. And it's not just the Williams sisters or the women's matches. The cameras on a Taylor Dent match I just watched had to be "court-focused" in order not to show empty stands on court level. Miami, it's not like the Dolphins are playing ball now, or the Miami Heat have enough arena seats to empty out the city. Is it jai-alai that's siphoning off the crowds from world class tennis? Kb
