CB, Does it really make sense to boycott an entire state because of what just a few citizens have done that you disagree with. After all, both houses of the Florida legislature has tried, from day one, to keep the feeding tube in Terri, and exhausted all avenues available to them to continue with her treatment.
As JDN said, a large portion of the population of Florida has been on the side of the Schindlers from the git go. Your anger is, at best, misdirected. The final verdict was up to federal court judges, including the Supreme Court. How many of them are Floridians??
The police are like soldiers. They must follow the orders of the court, but you want to blame the individual officers, as if they were the demons that initiated the action. As an attorney, you should be ashamed of yourself for losing sight of the arm of the law, as dictated by the judges that those in your profession have to face on many occasions.
To blame a state for the action of a few of it's citizens, is bias to the nth degree. I guess I will have to stay away from New Orleans, because some guy got killed there the other day. God forbid that I go to NYC, that registers a murder every day. Can't even visit D.C. any more because of the rampant crime inside the loop. Won't even consider Chicago, because it was once a haven for the mafia.
NOW, don't you see how silly your idle threat of not visiting Florida is? Not that I care where you go, or what you do. it ain't no skin off my nose. |
