Bush-Cheney cronies have spiked gas prices some 80%. Fact.
And if you argue they had nothing to do with it, consider the pjhony California energy crisis and that the Arabs and companies in control of our oil, refinery and energy trading would never do anything to hurt two fellow oil execs rise to power. But they financed Bush's rise to power too and so it's a mutual get-rich and powerful scheme. And a huge hidden tax on our people and economy. The US Petroleum Institute and the Petroleum Club in Houston are the centers of power, and Bush-Cheney are their heros. In fact why else would Bush pick Cheney as hyis running mate? To keep the scheme in the family.

If you stick up for energy thieves, you're no better than a crook yourself.

Yes, California pays a bit more because we refine cleaner gasoline. But even in Texas the prices are well above $2.
