Japanese films are a stretch for me. In film appreciation class I really liked Eisenstein's films, which think are sort of Japanese in their feel, however. I like films about women and relationships, and I don't really enjoy having to make huge cultural leaps to get the basic ideas. Mr. Grainne enjoys them, however. I will see if he can locate a copy. I will mention Wit to him as well. Pieces of April was a splendid film.
