Nice poem! The middle English were an earthier people than we are. I suspect they had much more fun sexually, as well, the ones that survived the Plague and starvation and plundering Viking folk. Well, the Viking folk probably were a bit of fun sexually, actually. They married right into the Irish society of the time. That is why there are so many red-haired Irish. Too bad the Catholic Church came along and made sexuality dark and drove it into hiding, where it is much less healthy.
