Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I just came back from vacation and have spent the last few days catching up. It is true that their business model has become a lot more complex and high-maintenance; the latter leads to concerns regarding burn rate; the former leads to money managers and analysts having a hard time putting a valuation on this company. Since the original brouhaha re. EST's back in the days of Dr. Venter I have not seen major developments on this issue. I seem to recall that the patent office was leaning towards denying the usefulness quality to "plain" ESTs (as an aside it looks as if the recent Geron publication relied on a previously known EST as I recall from my reading of the Science paper a couple of weeks ago). I agree that the science seems to remain first rate and today's announcement re. SAB reaffirms this (but, I thought Lander and a few others mentioned today had been associated with MLNM all along, so what's the news here?). PB
