I actually agree with you...I think Hurd as CEO is the right choice...HP's board should NEVER have hired Carly -- She was NEVER qualified for the top job and she was clearly overpaid for all that she accomplished (especially the merger that never should have happened)...Mr. Hurd has quite a challenge but he has a track record that is impressive. Ms. Fiorina NEVER had CEO experience and the board and the headhunters made a tragic mistake by hiring her.

btw, Mr. Hurd deserves to have a compensation package that generously rewards him for hitting important milestones...all the stakeholders will come out ahead.
