Thanks! I am going to mull over your post to a much greater degree. And I agree, I am sure I could benefit from professional help, probably in more ways than one. However, I've always been a self-helper to a degree.

It seems to me RE has both Growth and Income aspects as some RE is income producing while others are pure speculative plays or just land banks yet all participate in long term growth characteristics.

Its been my basic bias for decades to avoid idle cash, I'd rather convert it into some tangible equity where its store of value would be protected from the ravages of inflation. Here in California, I've found all of my RE investments over the past 30 years have performed well versus the cash dollar.
