Well, here is what bothers me. First, the inconsistencies in the husbands story:
For seven years he says I have no idea what my wife would have wanted, then wins 1.1 million $$ in Malpractice claim and SUDDENLY he and his two brothers remember she wanted to PULL THE PLUG.
Second, the treatment of his wife:
1. Nurse testifies she finds empty insulin bottle in wastebasket, this is backed up by another nurse, after Michael visits his wife.
2. Radioligist takes full bone scan and finds MULTIPLE FRACTURES throughout her body, from RIBS, ANKLES, and others.
This apparently is kept secret, I dont know if it ever got into the court record but its PUBLIC NOW.
3. Nurses testify that after Michael visited her ALONE she no longer was communicative, was withdrawn etc etc. Could this be because he was BREAKING HER BONES while in there and promising to break more if she talked??
4. Terri WAS responding for years when being treated when Michael won the award $700,000 of it was for HER TREATMENT, he STOPPED ALL TREATMENT and if it is true, the monies were spent for ATTORNIES FEES to put her to death. So much for FIDUCIARY RELATIONSHIPS.
Now the parents:
The FIGHT BEGAN when the parents wanted to USE that money for her rehab and he refused. Thus the parents spent themselves INTO BANKRUPTCY to try and help her. They could only get a probono attorney who was terribly outclassed. The court knows this but allows it to happen. Why wasnt an attorney appointed FOR TERRI if TERRI IS PAYING. Michael had one, Parents had one, Terri had NOTHING but a court appointed omnibudsman who it is well known does EXACTLY as the court wishes.
Now the dying process:
Terri is Catholic, she is entitled too daily communion, Michael forbids it. Why? What is he hiding or is this just another MEAN STREAK in him.
Autopsy, he would have you believe he WANTS one to clear himself, the LAW SAYS you MUST have one in circumstances where there is dispute.
Burial, though allowable, cremation is NOT the preferrable Catholic tradition, parents are very religious. Parents would like to have her buried near them, he wants her buried AFTER CREMATION up in Penna. Michael has started a new life why would he care, could it be MEANNESS?
You think thats enough to want to make a Judge consider reopening this trial to enter ALL THE FACTS. Guess not, not gonna happen. jdn |
