BTW what % of Germany and Arkansas have you seen? Have you extensivly traveled in the Eastern half of Germany?

No to neither. However, I've seen enough of both to know that living conditions in Arkansas are not superior to Germany.

Also remember the data are averages. If you have 99 people who live on $1 day, and Bill Gates in Group A, and you have 100 average Americans in group B, the average income of group A is higher, but you then visited half of each group, you would be left with the impression that there is no way that Group A has a higher average income then group B.

I sent an article to one of my German friends. He has lived in the US, Mexico and Germany, of course. His response:
