So true. I am fairly new to stock trading, and I've learned this lesson the hard way. Examples include the following (these are true stories):

Bought 2000 shares of JBIL @$35/share (presplit) in March, sold in April @$42. Today is trading @$115/share (presplit).

Bought 5000 shares NASI @$3.25/share in Feb.(began trading in January on OTC:BB @$1.50/share), sold in March @$3.50. Closed today at $16 3/4.

I cry myself to sleep at night <ggg>.
