The last time there was a trial about Terry Schiavo's condition, the court appointed five neurologists to examine her. Three said she was PVS, two said she wasn't.

Apparently according to the Florida rules of evidence that meets the standard for "clear and convincing" proof.

But as for me, I'd be reluctant to go around arguing that just because a majority, three out of five doctors, say something, the other two don't know what they're talking about.

Doctors make mistakes. Judges make mistakes. Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.
