I agree with you, LB. Santorum is grandstanding.

I will raise holy hell in whatever way I can if a judge's hair is touched as a result of this ridiculous issue. There has been enough lack of respect for the courts and the rule of law.

If the Schindlers' have a problem, they should ask their own lawyers a few tough questions. In my view, their failure to properly present their clients' case caused their claim to not be properly considered, though from what I've seen the ultimate result would under no circumstances been any different.

You are the moderator here. Nonetheless, I suggest it might be a good idea to call a cooling off period on the discussion.
