GST, now you are lying. If France believed that Saddam had no WMD, why didn't they mention it when they were trying to prevent the war? Because their intelligence, like Britain's and Germany's and everybody else's, thought that Saddam did have WMDs, on the basis of his history of using WMDs, his current behavior (why lose hundreds of billions of dollars to protect nothing?), and the limited amount of intelligence information available.
