Slider,

The Shanghai stock market was rigged from the start with country A shares representing mostly undercapitilized recently spun off government companies. It was a disaster.

Until you can repatriate profits from China in USD or other currencies, the "B" shares are going no where.

When China makes the RMB convertable and follows the rule of law, the Shanghai stock market will take off.
