I can't reconcile "no brain functionality for emotion" with any display of emotion via facial expression. I could believe it if it was said she had very very little or minimal functionality for emotion. But none? Nah, if that were the case there would be no facial expressions at all. Facial muscles are voluntary muscles, not involuntary muscles like cardiac and digestive system muscles.
