Why, GST, you made the assertion that French intelligence didn't believe that Iraq had WMDs. Now since France actively worked to subvert the sanctions against Iraq from about 1995 on (Ken Pollack's book The Threatening Storm gives the long sorry details of their behavior in the UN. Pollack also notes that by 2000 Iraqi trade was worth $17 billion, carefully doled out to the friends of Saddam, and France was high on the list), it would be mighty peculiar for them not to mention it, if this was what they believed. You asserted it, so it's your job to find the link.

You would think nobody had ever asked you to back up an assertion before.
