"when the robbers take away the gun from the home owner and the robber kills the home owner"

Some people are too scared and they will let this happen (as you probably would). Totally justified position. But to deny people who feel they can handle the situation the opportunity to do so is to take away their ability to defend themselves (against deadly force).

"Or when kids or robbers find the guns and use them else where"

In California the gun owner has committed a crime if this happens. Part of gun safety is keeping them out of the wrong hands.

"Guns do more harm than good"

This is a debatable point. I disagree, and until someone can prove that, I am not giving up my 2nd amendment right. Stories like the one I posted are the type that happen millions of times in America each year. The mainstream press ignores them, and people like you make villons out of law abiding folks who would just as soon apprehend a bad guy with a gun than engage him in a knife fight.

What I originally responded to was your idiotic assertion that guns are useless. I would not have called you an idiot if you had said they do more harm than good. Would have debated it, but not called you on a blatanyly absurd faleshool like I did in the opening exchange.
