stock will drop by the dividend. short and long term, usually no major reaction to the dividend distribution, though there may be a run up prior to ex date. look at msft and their $3/share special dividend.
now bum, here you are getting a dividend, and asking about fundamentals. next thing you know,you might actually inquire about what a company does. may need special dispensation to keep you on this thread. larry
