...and universally concluded that Saddam was hiding stocks of WMDs. That was simply accepted. Again, unless you think Ken Pollack was lying through his teeth about the state of intelligence concerning Saddam in the 1990s, his books lays out the unclassified material. It was universally concluded that Saddam might have WMD. There was also intelligence that indicated that Saddam didn't have WMD. Was Pollack lying...I doubt lying is the right word, but he was wrong if he concluded that Saddam had the WMD. I read the unclassified material on the CIA website before the war. The material available never said Saddam has WMD. It always said he "may" have... or possibly has... It was always qualified like that in those reports available to the public. I read them myself. The oil vouchers were the bribes? Ok then explain how the program was supposed to work and how the vouchers amounted to bribes. Orca
