Ruff,
Ariel was jumping up and down for the US to go after Iraq. It was mentioned in the Jerusalem Post at the time something about Ariel having to be toned down because it was too obvious. Anyone who says that Israel didn't want US to go after Iraq is either a liar or has had their head in the sand.

Now whether it was a good or bad thing is a different matter. but Israel most definitely wanted the US to take out Iraq.
After all , wasn't Iraq supplying Palestinian "terrorists" with money?
