BD, a vow is a vow and a man is only as good as his word. In this day and time, it isn't just the men who seek divorce. A lot of women, now in the work force, meet people at work who they become attracted to and eventually become involved with. Women file for divorce at incredible rates today. It isn't just the men. There are a lot of men who don't want a divorce. They would be content to have their wife not sleeping around and would even forgive her if she stopped. Yet, the woman files her divorce and it is granted. What good are vows if the judicial system won't honor them? A hand shake doesn't mean squat anymore when sealing a deal. It used to be that neighbors would watch out for your kids while playing outside and keep an eye on your property when you weren't there. Now nobody wants to get involved. It's truly sad, in my opinion. dabum
