Why are you so quick to jump on the Catholic church? There are bad men in all religions and there are bad men in all other walks of life too (boy scouts leaders, teachers, doctors, lawyers and judges). To claim that priests have an exclusivity in abuse is unfair and outright untruthful. Also, keep in mind that the Catholic church brought civility on all continents of the world. Many missionaries sacrificed their lives to reach out and educate natives everywhere.
