Big Surprise, the US occasionally acts consistent with US national interest....exactly why will it be in US long term interests to stop the ag subsidies ? Especially if global demand for commodities will grow explosively - why not maintain production capability in the US ? Maybe the US should cut subsidies to help our trade partners fight communism ...
