You compared your neighbor to Terri so it's fair to ask, was she brain dead?

I compared the expressions on the faces of Terri and my neighbor and their origin. I was very specific. Any other similarities and dissimilarities are irrelevant. If I had compared the purple and gold uniform colors of a men's basketball team with a bed of pansies, you wouldn't infer that I was calling the point guard a pansy, would you, or that I was considering slicing up the center to garnish a salad? <g>

As for my neighbor, obviously I didn't consider her brain dead. As I said, I played with her when she was in functioning mode.

Looking back, I think she must have had some ailment like epilepsy or maybe something like autism. I have since heard her mentioned a few times in ways that suggest that she went on to lead a normal life.
