I'm not sure what you mean by "prove" itself, but suffice to say that's how I use E-wave. I use it to find stocks that are near the bottom of corrections of larger uptrends (for bullish set-ups). This allows me to:

1) catch a new trend early
2) have a very clear and near stop loss, which IMO is 75% of trading,

I was batting about .750 trading this way during the powerful bull of 2003, this method obviously works best during strong trends. But since the market has started to detrend I am batting around .500 now. When I drop below .500 it is likely time to reverse sides.
