What they say about the market may be true, but they are not the only players. Applied BioSystems has similar stuff,

appliedbiosystems.com

and so does a private Pal Alto outfit called Target Discovery. There may be others. If Proteome Sciences fireworked on this, I'd guess the news is priced in generously.
