Ah, the hemoragic fevers. They eat the solids out of a person's blood until they thin it so much the victim is leaking all over. West Nile came to my mind because I had it.

Of course we have the hanta virus native to the US that is very deadly. It's found in mouse droppings. We also have a mold that if you inhale the spores and it goes active there's not a thing the doctors can do to keep it from turning your insides to juice. A SIer caught that in New York City and died from it in a week a few years back.
