I know some of the folks over there. They have good competency and good equipment (though it's not a huge operation a la the Asian bigs). I have little doubt that they can make the micro-addressed devices, given their new alliance with National Semi (and given a suitable expenditure of blood, sweat, and tears). The question in my mind is how the market for the micro-display devices is going to develop. I don't have the visibility to understand that market

There are some good, critical thinkers over there, and they made the present business fly by adroitly redirecting the it (some years ago) away from LEDs where they were losing ground. Maybe they see something real promising through the eyes of their customers? I dunno.

Aha, I just saw the post about Motorola and Kopin. I had forgotten that transaction. Since Motorola has been a major customer of TFS in the past, maybe TFS is taking a cue in part from Motorola, and their level of interest and commitment to itsy-bitsy diaplays, and is setting up to be an alternate supplier in the market?
