Bono could really care less about his record sales, if the records are not selling because of something political. He did take a stand on the issue--he thinks the war was glamorized and that war is very ugly. Believe it or not--and you know I love Ireland and the Irish--ending world poverty and curing AIDS in Africa are much bigger issues than the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Not everyone in the world must focus on them. You can see that all of Sinead's efforts have not done much. Are the only people in the whole world you respect focused completely on peace in Northern Ireland? The Pope is (was) Catholic, and he did not do much about it, either. Do you disrespect him because of that?
