Yes a bubble could expand so far as to collapse on its own.

But does even Greenspan want to see how high it can fly before bursting on its own? Especially when the dollar's role as the reserve currency is no longer guaranteed.

$5 dollar gasoline, $5 dollar big Macs, and $ 1 million Manhattan studio apts before we collapse?
