The long term inflation/deflation cycle tells us that it will be a FF rate far less than 6 3/4%.

Here is what we have so far.

1981(peak) 20%
1990 10%
2000 6 3/4 %

Note that there also was inversion all three times.Bonds were 15 1/2,9 1/2,6 3/4.

BTW 1987 was not a bubble from a classic view or a cycle view.
