As usual, you can't see the forest for the trees, and your worst charge is the teenager's cry of "hypocrisy!".

The question isn't nukes= bad or good, but what the parties who have them intend to do with them, and whether nuclear proliferation can be slowed before a bunch of suicidal fanatics lay their hands on a nuke and blow up a major city with it. If this is your ultimate concern, you may have a few objections to raise as you watch the #1 Supporter and Armer of Islamic Fanatics in the world, Iran, march on the course to having nuclear missiles. Pakistan is also a big worry, but once a country has nukes, we can't take them away. All the more reason to try to block Iran.
