To ALL: Short Interest from 8/15/97 report From Briefing.com briefing.com Company..........Aug 15...........Jul 15................Change Novell Inc.......11,661,461......11,301,073.......360,388 (Those 26 million shares traded as a result of the rumor could have been the shorts covering.....) We will want to watch to see if as a result of the IBM "RUMOR" if the shorts covered. Now that CEO SCHMIDT said that the company "is not for sale"...will the shorts again find Novell a good long term short???? Our management seems to conclude that Novell IS NOT a good buy at these levels....in fact they continue to sell! Elmo...If our management continues to sell...why should the "average" shareholder continue to hold OR why should new money find a home at Novell? EKS
