QQQQ Analysis moving into week of April 4, 2005

I’ve been experiencing sever problems most of the day so I will not be able to upload the usual version of The market Wind newsletter today; however, I will do a condensed version in this post.

Last week I call for the QQQQ to begin the week off with a move to the upside with the upper target being 36.80 and the lower target being 36.27.

think Monday’s QQQQ will open to the upside and possibly hit the middle channel of the Linear Regression line. That target would be about 36.80. The trading range through Wednesday should be between 36.80 as the high and 36.27 as the low. If upper L/R resistance is taken out and a close above 36.80 is achieved then 37.50 is probable.

In the five day chart below you can see that both the upper and lower targets that I called for last Sunday were hit:

Tuesday lower support was severely broken and Friday a very bearish daily candlestick was formed.

The stick from Friday actually engulfs the previous day’s trading range so a continuation of the down trend can be expected over the next session of two as week head into the coming week.

A reversal in the 35.50 – 35.75 area is likely however the possibility to move slightly lower is there:
