I remember the 70's and one thing we had then was gasahol.If we today instituted the use of gasahol with the mix at 25% rather than the 10% mix of the 70's we would see an instant reduction in gasoline consumption of 25%. This is a simple fix that could be done quickly, besides I read somwhere that alcohol is selling for 43 cents less than gasoline. I think hybrid technology if used in every new car, light truck and suv would reduce gasoline consumption by another 25%. Imagine that; a 50% reduction in gas consumption in just a few years!!! LOL
