I had an aunt who learned how to use the internet late in life when she came down with ALS disease. It greatly enhanced her final years.

I'm 62 but felt at least 84 recently when I installed and registered a popup blocker, STOPzilla. It required a bit of techie-knowledge which I don't have, so I had to spend over an hour with an English-challenged but very patient help-desk person. We finally got it worked out, and it works beautifully -- not a single popup ad since I installed it. With the steady stream of ads gone, I feel like I've gotten my internet life back.
