I'm not so sure... I believe that "intellect" and our "mental skills" are what differentiate us from animals. I don't consider a brain-dead person as a wholly human being. That said, to be a "mere sub-human creature" cannot be, imo, a reason enough to be disposed of. Do you support vivisection and the need for the cosmetics industry to experiment on disposable pets?
