Laz, No, of course not! See my previous post to you re body tattoos not being considered a valid Durable Power of Attorney or Advance Directive.

As we discussed in PM, your best bet for ensuring your final wishes will be respected and followed is to make sure that your probable first responders (paramedic/fire department), the hospital you would probably wind up at, and your personal physicians ALL have copies of your properly executed and witnessed Advance Directives and Durable Powers of Attorney in their files BEFORE their services might be visited upon you.

Of course, none of this does you a whit of good if you are traveling or away from home, so keep copies on your persons, as well, wrapped around your medical insurance cards. - Holly
