Even if the "Bobby's Law" idea doesn't work out, I want Congress - especially all those self-described conservatives who claim to believe in "less government and more freedom" - to trample on the decisions of doctors, judges and other experts who actually know something about my case.

I keep hearing people talk about how the "conservatives" did this -- Tom Delay and his minions. However, it seems the republicans have been innoculated by the Democrats position -- in the House, 102 abstained from voting, while 53 voted no and 47 voted yes -- hardly a controversial vote (unless you want to consider the 102 democrats abstaining as "controversial").

In the Senate, the Dems agreed to a voice vote for obvious reasons.

The liberal media blaming Delay is just bull, as usual. The Dems were complicit.
