re: One big difference is this time we have Otellini, a Marketing guy, running the ship, not Barrett, who was a less-than-successful CEO and company leader (to put it nicely). I agree Otellini is a good change, and if as reported he was the author of the Centrino strategy, then he gets some credit. That was a fairly interesting departure for Intel (AND it worked). But this company has a whole string of "new business" failures. So I'm in the camp of "I'll believe it when I see it". I got really excited about their DSP-type chip, then... I'm STILL really excited by WiMax... but it's been pretty quiet lately. "We'll see". John
