Well, let's see. The lack of secterian violence. I'm not as certain about that as you are. The problem with reporting is rather serious. There are reports of Sunni on Shia violence but the Shias don't wish to respond for obvious reasons. The potential is still very strong.

On the elections, your source is definitely a pro-Bush source. Let's leave it at that.

The serious Kurd problem will be over Kirkuk. Right now that's in negotiations. If those don't work out, the potential for violence in that area is severe.

The casualty data is interesting. Still looks high to me but I take your point about 04.

Your point about insurgents not wanting another Fallujah. Who knows?
