NEW YORK, April 4 (newratings.com) - Analysts at First Albany maintain their "buy" rating on Dell (DELL.NAS). The target price is set to $46.
In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company is likely to reiterate its 1Q06 guidance for EPS of $0.37 on revenues of $13.4 billion during its Analyst Meeting scheduled for April 6-7. The analysts believe that the focus of the discussions would be on Dell’s plans to achieve continued high-teens growth, despite decelerating end demand in certain segments. The company is on track to achieving $60 billion in revenues by the end of this fiscal year, one year ahead of expectations, according to First Albany. -----------------------------------------------------------

NEW YORK, April 4 (newratings.com) - Analyst Steven M Fortuna of Prudential Financial reiterates his "overweight" rating on Dell Inc (DELL.NAS), while raising his estimates for the company. The target price is set to $55.
In a research note published this morning, the analyst mentions that industry checks suggest that the company's Q1 performance is tracking in-line with the guidance. Dell is likely to reiterate its Q1 guidance during the analyst day meeting scheduled for Thursday, Prudential Financial says. The EPS estimate for FY07 has been raised from $1.87 to $1.90 to reflect more aggressive share repurchase expectations. |
