Tom Delay has broken rules on fundraising, created a huge gerrymandering problem in Texas, supported unconstitutional legislation, and threatened federal judges. He is currently being investigated for ethics violations (and possible criminal indictment) for the third time. He has consistently taken positions that are unethical and unconstitutional in his endless thirst for power.

The ACLU has defended the Constitution against attacks from all directions, and has defended those on both the left and right. They do not judge the position they are defending (e.g. they do not approve of Nazis), only the constitutionality of the situation (free speech, protection of privacy, limits on federal powers, etc).

Do you have any examples of how the ACLU is 'the biggest threat to Democracy'?
