My guess is this info leaked yesterday: TiVo Signs New DirecTV Ad Agreement 04.05.2005, 06:31 AM TiVo Inc., a provider of subscriber-based digital video recording services, said Tuesday it signed a new advertising services agreement with DirecTV Group Inc., extending the companies' prior services contract. Each company may now sell and distribute TiVo's advertising capabilities on DirecTV DVRs with TiVo service. Both TiVo and DirecTV will each retain their respective revenue generated from these sales. DirecTV is the nation's largest satellite television provider with about 13.9 million subscribers. Additional terms were not disclosed.
